Student Exchange:

As part of my university degree, I got the honour of studying advertising in Australia, Melbourne for the year. This has allowed me to gain a high level of communicational and educational skills, which I can apply to all sorts of situations, as well as a different look at how life can be around the world. As well as creating me into a young confident individual who isn’t scared to try or do anything.

 

Employment and Experience:

September 2017-Present: Yvonne Arnaud Theatre

Working in the local theatre to serve customers in the café, restaurant, private clubs and functions. I organise and plan private events as well as work every day duties.

October 2016- May 2017: Krispy Kreme Australia  

Over the past year I have been working in a small team serving donuts and making coffee to regular customers in Krispy Kreme Australia. This amazing international job allowed me to gain so many social, independent skills and I can honestly say I can face any challenge

November 2015 – April 2016: Urban Outfitters

I worked in a close, small team, were we relied on one another’s support. This meant I was able to gain skills in communication and teamwork.

August 2015 – November 2015: Zara, Guildford.     

This has taught me how to work with in a diverse work environment as well as allowing me to gain skills working in a busy, high-pressure setting.

November 2015: Bright Club film Operation

I got the opportunity to film a live comedy night in Guildford, where I set up multiple camera and sound equipment to record the night’s events. Working with two other students we directed ourselves to fulfil the needs of our client.

October 2015: Freelance Club Opening

Worked within a team to set up, record and edit the live performance of Major Lazer in London. I not only gained teamwork and communication skills, but I also got to work hands on with all the equipment required to film this kind of performance live.

 

April 2014 - August 2015: Tesco       

I performed the rolls of stocking the shop, across all sections. I am also till and lottery trained. This has helped me gain a lot of communication skills and understanding the needs of different costumers. I was flexible and worked in many different branches along the south coast, adapting to each stores different requirements and integrating myself.

 

May 2013 – May 2014: Sports Direct  

 

October 2012 – December 2012:  Argos for Christmas   

 

Skills and interests:

  • I have knowledge and experience in Photoshop, InDesign, Unity 3D, Processing, Virtual Reality, Green Screen, Lightroom, Illustrator, JavaScript, Premier, After Effects, Twine and more.

  • Strong understanding and capability with working all different types of cameras, video recorders, lighting and sound recording equipment.

  • Full clean UK driving licence.

  • House Leader at Brookfield Community School; organised events, communicated with senior members of the faculty and provided feedback to my fellow piers in assemblies.

  • I am a member of Surrey University Cheerleading squad.

  • I have travelled all around the world, including having lived in New Zealand for two years and going to Japan for a student exchange.  I have also spent the year in Australia studying as part of my University degree. I feel I am constantly up for exciting challenges and will leap at the opportunity of new experiences.
